Physics VR: Survival
A downloadable game for Windows
PURPOSE
What's better than a "physics sandbox"? An actual game. This little game is a demonstration project for a full-physics VR rig in conjunction with multiplayer, crafting, swimming, and a number of other experimental features. Its design ethos--based on Hand Simulator: Survival by HFM games-- and its nature begets bugs--especially in multiplayer. The only in-game objective is to survive and attempt to reach the landing pad. Be careful, the water is cold. Please tell me any issues you find--I'd love to know what isn't working.
Controls
Left thumbstick to walk
Swing arms to run
Right thumbstick to crouch
Grips to grip
Lower right hand button to physically jump
Upper right hand button to open menu
Gameplay Tips
Bash coconuts with rocks to eat them
Hit objects with the bone to fuse them whilst connected. Its important to strike either object first before attempting the adhesion. There's a noise!
You need 5 sticks or planks close together to make a fire with sparks
Banging to rocks together makes sparks
Bash trees with rocks to fell them
Use IRL front crawl swim technique to swim efficiently
Water and night make you cold. Day and fire make you warm
Bash a lot of things with rocks
Misc
Codes are used to connect players in multiplayer. One player is host and the rest join him. If you mess up a code you're screwed(restart necessary).
Make sure to adjust your height properly.
There is a cinematic camera for recording. If you change scenes, it will be disabled and must be enabled again.
Major Bugs/Issues
